It's the question everybody is asking! And APCO-MS members can answer proudly that they are APCO, a sure sign of professionalism and excellence in public safety.
You can get in on the act, too. The next time you talk to a coworker, another agency, or anyone involved in public safety, ask them that one simple question. It's a great way to break the ice when meeting or networking with fellow professionals. And if they aren't APCO, you can introduce them to the benefits and pride you get from being part of the world's oldest and largest organization for public safety communications professionals.
The APCO-MS.org site is the best place for information about the Mississippi Chapter and what we're doing for public safety in our state. And it's easy to get to—just type apco-ms.org in any browser, and you're there! Give them the site address and encourage them to drop by to get all the information they need.
No Internet? No problem! Just jump to the contact page and give us their name and how to reach them. One of our Membership Representatives will get in touch with them and answer any questions they have about who we are and what we do. We'll even talk to their agency and explain the great benefits of having APCO-MS members in their organization, and what APCO does to help their agency increase productivity, reduce liability, and improve their service to the public.
So answer that question with pride—"Yes, I'm APCO!"—and be sure to ask it yourself. One day, you'll have another proud APCO-MS member thanking you for asking!
