Information on Conference 2006:

Conference 2006 is a joint effort of two organizations from the Mississippi Chapters of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) and the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO). While these organizations address different concerns in public safety, we also share a goal of saving lives and property. Conference 2006 main goal is to provide education and professional development for the public safety officials. Conference 2006 focused a lot on the after effects of Hurricane Katrina, from time and energy, to recovery and prevention in the communication centers, with several speakers who were they’re before during and after the storm.

Reimbursement and Continuing Education:

Conference 2006 is fully reimbursable by the Mississippi Board of Emergency Telecommunicator Standards and Training (BETST) for agencies as certified continuing education. If you have any questions please call the number on your reimbursement form.
