Emergency telecommunicators in the State of Mississippi may choose Member category membership in the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International (APCO) as a qualifying elective for reimbursable continuing education. To qualify for reimbursement, telecommunicators must have satisfied all requirements for certification by the State of Mississippi Board of Emergency Telecommunications Standards and Training (BETST) and maintain a current certification.
Reimbursements must be submitted with a copy of your APCO membership card or letter of membership. Agencies and/or telecommunicators may, at their option, choose Active category membership with APCO International, in which case BETST will reimburse the portion equivalent to the current Member category membership dues.
Mississippi residents joining APCO International become members of APCO-MS, with all associated rights and privileges.
