APCO-MS is proud to offer the best selection of educational opportunities for its members, and hopes you'll add your offerings to the wide variety of choices that APCO members enjoy.  To keep these postings of the highest quality and value for our members, it is important to stress some rules:

• Submissions become the property of APCO-MS.org and may be used on the APCO-MS.org site or other media without any compensation to the submitter.  By submitting, you agree to allow APCO-MS.org and APCO-MS the right to reproduce the information submitted.

• APCO-MS.org reserves the right to edit your submission for clarity and brevity.  If you feel such editing is detrimental to your offering, please contact us to have your submission removed.

• No offering will be accepted which discriminates on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, or disability.  It is acceptable to limit enrollment or participation to parties who have necessary educational or occupational requirements to make them suitable for the particular offering.

• Content in submissions must be appropriate for a general audience, and may not contain profanity.

• Education offerings may not be posted by a commercial organization or company.  We welcome offerings for commercial training hosted by public agencies, but will not accept any offering that is not supported or hosted by an established public safety agency.

• Postings must include a contact person with the hosting agency and a telephone number where they may be reached during regular business hours.  You may add other methods of contact at your option.

• Submissions must be in plain text only and clearly readable.  Any submission containing HTML or other code, ASCII graphics, or text entirely in capital letters may be refused.

• We reserve the right to refuse any submission we feel is contrary to APCO-MS standards or of no benefit to our members, without any notice given to the submitter.  The decision to refuse a submission is strictly at APCO-MS.org's option, and such decision is final.

What Can I Do To Make My Submission Better?
• Give complete and accurate information. Double-check dates and telephone numbers, and check the spelling and grammar before submitting.  The easier your offering is to read, the more likely APCO members will participate.

• Stick to the relevant information.  Education postings are not the place to give your instructor's full résumé or praise the virtues of your training provider.  Blatant advertising copy is not allowed.

• Make sure you type your submission clearly.  If you aren't a good typist, find someone to help you make it clean and concise.  Typographical errors make you and your training provider look bad.

• Be sure to mention if your offering is reimbursable by regulatory agencies like BETST, MSDOH, BLEOST, or others.  That's important to many agencies under tight budgets.  And especially be sure to tell if it is APCO-approved education—that's the absolute best thing you can say about your offering!

• If you have a question about submissions, contact APCO-MS.org by visiting the contact page.  We can offer good advice about what to say or not to say in your submission, and help you to get your education to the public safety professionals who need it.
